Troy Vincent
On January 19, 2002, the Philadelphia Eagles
defeated the Chicago Bears 33-19 in an NFC playoff game, sending them to
the NFC Championship game to face the then defending world champion St.
Louis Rams.
During the course of the game the
Eagles' All Pro cornerback, Troy Vincent severely injured his groin and
was removed from the game. There was serious doubt that he would
be able to play in the championship game against the Rams.
On Wednesday January 23, 2002 Troy Vincent tried on the Bodyguard Compression Shorts
by Antibody, Inc. That Sunday, while wearing his
Bodyguard, Vincent played an effective game
despite his injury.
Later Vincent was asked to give his impressions of the Bodyguard's effectiveness in
accommodating his injury. He stated, " It worked perfectly for me… I
wouldn't have played without it."
